In a press release, Abdel Dayem commented that “opening the doors of Toshka Culture Palace in Aswan stresses the role of culture being a soft power which supports social development.”
“The palace is one of the many steps on the road to achieve cultural justice, while providing a platform for intellectual, cultural and artistic products for the inhabitants of Aswan and its vicinity.”
Awad said that “Toshka Culture Palace is one of the oldest cultural sites affiliated with the General Organization of Culture Palaces, with its history going back to 1964.”
