Argentina and Barcelona star Lionel Messi has advised his country fellowman Sergio Aguero to leave Premier league leaders Manchester City and join Spanish giants Real Madrid. "If he goes to Real Madrid I am sure it will give him much joy. If it's the best thing for him, I will be very happy, because of our friendship,” Messi told Radio 9. Aguero joined Manchester City last summer from Atletico Madrid, but it seems that returning to play in Spain is not a possibility for him in the near future. Scoring 21 goals for the Citizens in the Premier league this season, the 23-year-old Aguero was linked with a move for Jose Mourinho's team in a swap deal with Gonzalo Higuain, the matter that was rejected by his coach Roberto Mancini. The fact of Playing for Real Madrid's arch rivals Barcelona, didn't prevent Messi from joining Argentina's football legend Diego Maradona, Aguero father-in-law, in advising the player to move to the Bernabeu. "I get along very well with Kun off the field and we play well together. However in the national team there are very good strikers so we must take advantage of every time we are recalled,” concluded Messi speaking about the strong relation with compatriot Aguero.
