Ahly reportedly signed Wednesday the Senegalese striker Aliou Badji, currently with Austria's Rapid Vienna. The Cairo giants will reportedly pay €2 million (approximately EGP35 million) to get the services of the talented Senegalese attacker for four-and-a-half seasons from the Austrian outfit. Badji will be an addition to Ahly's attacking line in speed and physique, beside his ability to shoot with both legs. The 22-year-old forward has played for two teams at the senior level — Rapid Vienna, and Djurgardens IF — participating in 88 games, scoring 14 goals, and creating seven more. He participated in 16 games in the current season and scored three goals thus far. Badji participated with the Senegalese national team in the U-20 World Cup 2017 and the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations 2017 where he scored one goal after appearing in five matches. Senegal lost in the final 2-0 against Zambia. This is Ahly's second deal in the winter transfer market after signing Mahmoud Abdel Moneim 'Kahraba' from Portugal's Aves.
