Unable to believe that his beloved daughters are betraying him, Lear slowly goes insane and goes through a dramatic tragedy in his life. This is the first play to defend the women's rights and highlight their crucial role in developing the society in a sarcastic manner. It is written by Ayman Feteihaand directed by Mohamed Sobhy (12, 13, 19, 20 December, 8pm).
Taliaa Theatre Attaba Square, Tel 02 2593 7948 Zaki Tolaimat Hall Hareem Alnar (Women of Fire), a play produced by Taliaa Theatre Company. It's an adaptation of Spanish dramatist Federico Garcia Lorca's The House of Bernarda Alba. It's about the life of women in Upper Egypt through telling the story of a mother and her daughters.
