Kenya were held at home by Togo 1-1 in the second round of Group G matches of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers to move to the second place of the group with two points after two games. Togo's Hakim Ouro-Sama's 64th minute strike canceled Kenya's Johanna Omolo lead in the 35th minute to keep their hopes alives after their first round slip against Comoros 1-0. After two rounds of the qualifiers, Comoros lead Group G with 4 points after their 1-0 away victory against Togo and a precious 0-0 home draw against Egypt. Kenya, who have two points, moved to the second place courtesy to a better goal difference than Egypt while Togo are bottom of the group with just a single point. On Monday, Gambia also conceded a 2-2 home draw against DR Congo 2-2 in Group D, while in Group F Cape Verde drew against Mozambique 2-2 as well. The third round of the 2021 AFCON qualifiers will resume on September 2020 with Egypt hosting Togo, and Kenya hosting Comoros.
