Nigeria, Namibia and Guinea Bissau win, Cameroon held in Nations Cup qualifiers

Nigeria opened their 2021 Nations Cup qualifying campaign with a narrow 2-1 win at home to Benin on Wednesday.
The Super Eagles came from behind to score twice and go top of Group L with three points.
Benin attacking midfielder Stephane Sessegnon stunned the hosts with an early goal in the 3rd minute but Nigeria's Victor Osimhen leveled the score after converting a penalty just before the break.
Bordeaux forward Samuel Kalu scored the winner three minutes after the hour-mark.
In the same group, Sierra Leone were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Lesotho.
In Group A, Namibia claimed a 2-1 win over Chad in Windhoek.
Chad defender Adoassou Matthieu scored an own goal in the 66th minute but the visitors responded quickly as striker Ezechiel Ndouasel equalised two minutes later.
Chris Katjiukua netted the winner with 14 minutes remaining to complete a comeback victory for Namibia.
Mali will take on Guinea in the other match of the group on Thursday.
In Group J, Guinea-Bissau thrashed eSwatini 3-0. Senegal and Congo meet in the other group match later on Wednesday.
Cameroon, who will qualify for the Nations Cup as hosts regardless of their results in the group, were held to 0-0 draw at home to Cape Verde.
