Niger fire coach after Nations Cup debut
After lack of performance, Niger coach has been axed from his position

Niger, who lost all three matches in their African Nations Cup finals debut last month, have dismissed coach Harouna Doula, the country's football federation announced.
“We have a duty to take steps to properly prepare our team for the upcoming qualifiers for the World Cup and the next Nations Cup. We have decided to change the entire coaching staff, not just the coach,” said Niger Football Federation president Djibrilla Hamidou in a French radio interview.
Doula is the third coaching casualty of the tournament following the exit of coaches from Burkina Faso and Senegal.
