Despite dominating Zambia in the 2012 African Cup of Nations semifinal, Ghana lost 1-0 and failed to book a place in the final. “We dominated possession throughout the game. It was unfortunate they scored from the two chances that came their way. Personally, I don't think something went wrong with the team. We were unlucky,” Ghana assistant coach Kwesi Appiah was quoted as saying by Cafonline on Thursday. “Zambia is a big football nation. They have played well and we expected a tough game. We came here to get a win. I don't think we deserved to lose. “At the moment, all (the players) are down. We have to do a lot to restore their morale for the third-place match,” Appiah added. Ghana are scheduled to face Mali in the third-place match on Saturday in Malabo, whilst Zambia squares up to Cote d'Ivoire in the final 24-hours later in Libreville.
