On the occasion of the National Day of France, also known as Bastille Day, French ambassador to Egypt Stéphane Romatet held a lavish reception party on Sunday in the garden of his residence in Giza. Romatet delivered a speech where he said that Egypt and France cooperate in all fields to ensure the stability of the Middle East region. He also disclosed that Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and French President Emmanuel Macron are scheduled to meet next month. The reception was attended by some 2,000 guests including ministers, ambassadors and artists. Among those attending were Minister of Transport Kamel El-Wazir, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El-Molla, Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Wali, Minister of Antiquities Khaled El-Enani, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Aly El-Moselhy, Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait, and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat.
