Egypt has announced three days of mourning for the tens of football fans who were killed following a pitch invasion in Wednesday's Premier League match between Ahly and Masry in Port Said. More than 70 were dead and hundreds injured when Masry's supporters invaded the pitch following the final whistle to confront the visiting fans. “A national mourning is declared for three days from Thursday (2 February 2012) to Saturday sunset (4 February 2012),” Egypt's ruling military, the Supreme Council of Armed Forces (SCAF), said in a statement on its Facebook page. “An investigation committee will be formed to find out the truth behind the unfortunate incident and bring the culprits to justice.”
