Morocco's Raja consider pulling out of CAF Confederation Cup after refereeing dispute

Moroccan team Raja are considering pulling out of the CAF Confederation Cup after they were denied a penalty and a last-gasp goal in the team's otherwsie goalless draw against compatriots RS Berkane in the fourth round of the competition's group stage.
Raja have sent a letter to the Confederation of African Football requesting an investigation into what they called “a farce.”
“In the aftermath of the incidents that took place during club Raja's encounter against RS Berkane in the CAF Confederation Cup on 3 March, the club board held an urgent meeting to discuss the matter,” read the letter sent to the African football governing body.
“This is a condemnation message directed from the club to the CAF president and we request a timely investigation into the matter, keeping our right to pull out from the competition in the light of the investigation results,” the letter added.
Titleholders Raja are currently left with a mountain to climb as they sit last in Group A on 3 points, five behind leaders RS Berkane.
Congolese side AS Otoho are second in the group on five points and Hassania Agadir of Morocco are third on four points.
The Green Eagles will receive Hassania Agadir on Sunday in the fifth matchday of the group stage.
