"It sends a message to the whole world that Egypt is regaining its status in the heart of Africa, aiming at achieving desired continental economic and commercial integration," he said. He stressed that "the Egyptian government is looking for more economic partnerships and cooperation projects with different countries." "An ambitious plan implemented by the Ministry of Trade and Industry aims to strengthen the Egyptian presence in the African markets, basing on expanding trade and industrial cooperation, including the transfer of industrial expertise to African countries," he added. Egypt is also seeking to establish joint projects in African markets, making use of its distinguished strategic relations and preferential trade agreements inked with many countries worldwide, he said.
