Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of a major train accident in a downtown Cairo railway station, which has killed 25 people and injured 40 others. Ahead of a press conference with his Albanian counterpart Ilir Meta, El-Sisi said "I have instructed the government to immediately go to the scene of the incident and to hold those responsible accountable after conducting the necessary investigations." The president has also instructed the ministers to make all the necessary arrangements to care for the injured. Meanwhile, the Egyptian prosecution said in a statement that it has ordered an immediate investigation into the incident.
