Published in Ahram Online on 20 - 02 - 2019

Egypt's Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli opened on Wednesday a regional conference on terrorism.
Egyptian Prosecutor-General Nabil Sadek took part in the conference for Middle East and North Africa on enhancing international cooperation in the face of the growing threats of financing terrorism and money laundering.
The conference is held under the auspices of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, according to a statement by the cabinet media office.
Attending the conference are prosecutor-generals from Arab, African and foreign countries along with ministers, ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions in Cairo.
Sadek said that terrorism has become the primary enemy of all peoples and the main hindrance to development efforts.
The conference is held in light of the development of methods adopted by terrorist groups in committing their criminal acts, he added.
The PM stressed the necessity for countries around the world to cooperate to end the funding of terrorism and money laundering.
The two-day conference will discuss several important issues related to fighting terrorism and other crimes along with means of boosting international cooperation in this regard.
Representatives from 41 countries and international organisations from the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia are taking part in the conference.
