Egypt's Futsal youth team made history on Thursday after winning the bronze medal at the ongoing Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina after defeating the hosts 5-4 in the game for third place. This is the first time for an Egyptian football team to win a medal at the Olympics. The Pharaohs came from behind to claim a deserved win and clinch the medal. They made a slow start of the game, allowing Argentina to score three consecutive goals, while Mohamed Talaat scored the only goal for the Pharaohs in the first half in the 17th minute to go to the locker room with two goals down. The second half saw a heroic performance from the Egyptian team, especially Mohamed Talaat, who scored three successive goals for the Pharaohs. With this Bronze medal, Egypt has taken their tally to 12 medals (3 gold, 2 silver and 7 bronze).
