Manchester United's former star and Everton's current striker Wayne Rooney has hailed the impact of Egyptian Winger Mohamed Salah on Liverpool's attacking line this season, insisting that the Pharaohs player makes a big difference to his team. Liverpool's front three – Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane – have delivered outstanding performances this season, scoring a total of 56 goals in all competitions. "They are very dangerous," Rooney told Sky Sports on Monday. "They've obviously got pace and Roberto Firmino works hard and wins the ball back a lot for them. That's what Liverpool want because they then go and counter-attack and score goals. “As good as they are, Mo Salah pips them because he's a fantastic player. He takes them to that next level," the former England star concluded. Salah, Liverpool's top-scorer, is currently the second-from-top scorer in the English Premier League with 21 goals, just one behind the leader Harry Kane of Tottenham. Liverpool lie third in the competition's table with 51 points, 18 behind leaders Manchester City.
