Wintry, cold weather will hit Egypt again on Saturday, with rainfall expected on some parts of the country. Meteorologists predict low and medium level clouds across the country's northern coast, accompanied by rainfall. Higher winds are also expected over the Red Sea, with the port of Sharm El-Sheikh remaining closed for the third day. The two main ports of Alexandria on the Mediterranean, Boughazi and Dekheila, will remain closed for the third day due to high waves and strong winds which disrupt maritime navigation. Last week, parts of the country experienced sandstorms accompanied with heavy rain, resulting in property damage and a number of deaths due to road accidents. Cairo, which saw a high of 15 and a low of 8 on Friday, is expected to see a high of 16 and a low of 8 Celsius. Alexandria will see a high of 15 and a low of 12 Celsius. Upper Egypt cities will enjoy warmer temperatures during the day but colder nights, with Aswan seeing a high 19 and a frosty low of 8. The tourist city of Sharm El-Sheikh in South Sinai will enjoy a high of 20 and a low of 15.
