'I came here to win titles,' says Egypt's Salah
Published in Ahram Online on 25 - 12 - 2017

Liverpool's Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah said on Monday he is not surprised with his success at Anfield, stressing he will do his best to help Liverpool win titles.
The 25-year-old took the Premier League by storm since joining Liverpool from Serie A side Rome last summer.
Salah scored 15 goals in 19 League appearances to top the list of the Premier League scorers with Tottenham ace Harry Kane, who also has 15 goals.
When asked by Sky Sports if he expected such success, Salah said: "Honestly, yes. I always say nothing is by luck. You work, you expect more and you will get what you deserve."
The former Basel winger revealed his ambitions with the Reds in 2018, adding he is sure that his side will win titles this year.
"I came here to win titles; to win something for the club, for us, for the fans," Salah said.
"I would love to win something here. We are working hard every day to win something and I am sure we will this year."
The Egyptian winger, who is in the race for the African player of the year award with his teammate at Liverpool Sadio Mane, highlighted his good relations with the Senegalese winger.
"Sadio and I are very close, maybe he is my closest friend on the team," Salah said.
"He is a great guy, fantastic player and very fast, with quality and confidence. I am very happy to share everything with him."
