Mass protests Tuesday are taking place in the capital Sanaa, Taiz, Aden, and other cities calling for the trial of Preisdent Ali Abdullah Saleh. Similar demonstrations have taken place since Saleh returned to Yemen Saturday night from the Saudi capital Riyadh after signing a power transfer deal last week. Also Tuesday a security official said at least 25 people were killed in fighting between Hawthi Shiites and ultraconservative Salafis in the northern province of Saada in a local dispute. The official spoke on condition of anonymity in line with security rules.
