Zaïde quartet to perform at the French Institute On Thursday 1 December, award-winning French quartet Zaïde will perform works by Mozart, Webern and Debussy
Ever since its creation in 2010, French quartet Zaïde has given a number of concerts in France and internationally, performing in many important theatres, such as London's Wigmore Hall. The formation has already gained recognition, receiving the third prize at the Banff International String Quartet Competition in Canada and the top honour at the Charles Hennen International Competition in Holland. Their concert in Cairo will take place on Thursday, 1 December at the French Institute in Mounira. The programme includes Mozart's String Quartet No.23 in F major, K.590, Anton Webern's Six Bagatelles for String Quartet, Op. 9 and Debussy's String Quartet in G minor, Op. 10. Zaïde quartet consists of Charlotte Juillard and Pauline Fritsch on violin, Sarah Chenaf on viola and Juliette Salmona on cello.
