Egypt's temperature will continue to drop in the capital Cairo from 36 degrees Celsius on Wednesday to 34 on Thursday, following a sizzling four-day heatwave of 40 degrees, state run MENA reported. Cairo is expected to see a high of 34 and a low of 25, while the Mediterranean city of Alexandria will witness a high of 29 and a low of 24.

Active winds on the Red Sea and Mediterranean could disturb navigation.
The highest temperature during morning hours on Thursday will be seen at southern and upper Egypt's governorates of Luxor 41, Aswan 40, Qena 39 and Sohag with 37 degrees.
Sharm El-Shiekh in South Sinai will see 39 degrees high and 31 low, and Hurghada on the Red Sea coast 38 and 30.
