New release: The Children's Singing
The General Authority for Culture Palaces (GACP) has published The Children's Singing, by Mohamed Hassan Ghanem

The popular studies series by the General Authority for Culture Palaces (GACP)has published recently Dr Mohamed Hassan Ghanem's The Children's Singing, or Ghena' Al-Atfal. The GACP is interested in a psychological reading of society through folklore, especially children's songs.
The book combines two chapters: the first is a collection of children's songs, from school, religious songs, songs that sing about artists, and songs about Ramadan and the feast.
The second chapter is a psychological reading via analysing the essence of the songs. The author deduces that these songs in contemporary folklore explain social mentalities in society.
The author says: “In this critical study I point out that songs are the language of freedom for children. It frees them from the adults' domination."
