'Collage: 100 years on' opens new gallery in Zamalek
A new art space called The Gallery will open in Zamalek on Sunday, 20 November

The Gallery, a new art space to open in Zamalek, is operating under the umbrella of Le Souk Gallery.
Le Souk was established with the intent of providing a venue where some of the finest in contemporary Egyptian art can display their work, and where discerning art and antique lovers can acquire one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture, works of art and collectibles carefully selected from around the world.
The Gallery's inaugural exhibition is entitled "Collage: 100 years on" and aims to display works created over the past 100 years by Egyptian collage artists. Among exhibited works, the exhibition will include pieces by Mounir Canaan, Hany Rashed, Hassaan Ali, Hisham El-Zeiny, Huda Lutfi, Maie Yanni, Mohamed Abou El-Naga and Mutaz El-Emam.
The opening ceremony will take place on Sunday, 20 November, at 6pm and the exhibition will run until 20 December.
