Namibia, Kenya and DR Congo register comfortable victories in their respective games in the preliminary round of the World Cup qualifiers

Namibia, Kenya and DR Congo are on the verge of reaching the 2014 World Cup qualifiers group stage after securing comfortable away wins in the first leg of the preliminary round.
Tresor Mputu and Dioko Kaluyituka, who played a key role in helping TP Mazembe win the African Champions League last year, scored in the first half to set DR Congo on their way to a 3-1 win at Swaziland.
Namibia routed Djibouti 4-0 away from home while Kenya crushed Seychelles 3-0, thanks to goals from Pascal Ochieng, Kevin Kimani and Dennis Oliech.
Mozambique are also favorites to progress after claiming a 1-0 win at Comoros.
Defender Miro converted a penalty 11 minutes after the restart as Mozambique edged closer to a place in Group E which also includes seven-time African champions Egypt, Guinea and Zimbabwe.
Eritrea surrendered a first-half lead to draw 1-1 at home to Rwanda.
Congo are close to booking a place in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers group stage after smashing São Tomé and Príncipe 5-0 (Tchilimbou 8, 75 minutes Missilou 3, Malonga 32 and Oniangue 55).
Guinea Bissau held to a 1-1 draw with Togo.
