Egypt striker Marwan Mohsen will be out for several months after tearing the cruciate ligament in his right knee in the Pharaohs' 1-0 win over Morocco in the quarter final of the Africa Cup of Nations. The 28-year-old underwent scans on Tuesday that confirmed Egypt's worst fears. Mohsen limped off two minutes before the break, making way for Sporting Braga striker Ahmed 'Koka' Hassan who had a hand in Egypt's late winner. The Ahly striker has been Egypt's main frontman at the Nations Cup before picking up the injury. Although he failed to find the net, he was praised for his link-up play with fellow forwards. Egypt will face Burkina Faso in the tournament semis on Wednesday. (For more sports news and updates, follow Ahram Online Sports on Twitter at @AO_Sports and on Facebook at AhramOnlineSports.)
