We just had trouble keeping Roma's Salah under control: Atalanta boss Gasperini
Published in Ahram Online on 20 - 11 - 2016

Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini highlighted the threat posed by Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah after his team's late 2-1 win over Roma in the Serie A on Sunday.
The in-form winger won a first-half penalty which gave Roma a 1-0 lead after his close-range shot struck the hands of a defender.
He also wasted two clear-cut chances before being replaced on 58 minutes, making way for Stephan El Shaarawy, as Atalanta came from behind to claim all three points.
"We had a decent first half, we just had trouble keeping Mohamed Salah under control," Gasperini told Sky Sport Italia after the match.
"In the second half we were simply extraordinary. We pushed forward and took risks, even if Roma barely threatened us, and it paid off," the coach added.
Salah joined Roma on a season-long loan from English side Chelsea in the summer of 2015, shortly after refusing to extend a loan deal with Italian side Fiorentina. He penned a permanent deal with the Giallorossi last summer.
The 24-year-old has scored eight goals in 12 league appearances with Roma so far this season.
Sunday's loss left second placed Roma away of keeping the pressure on Serie A leaders Juventus who remained seven points clear at the top.
Atalanta are just a point behind Roma, and level with Milan and Lazio.
