Ahly's talented winger Walid Soliman will miss Sunday's Egyptian Premier League game against Gouna after picking up an injury. The 26-year-old hurt his groin in the 2-2 draw with his former club Petrojet last Tuesday. “Soliman is undergoing treatment. He will not be able to play against Gouna,” Ahly's doctor Ehab said on the club's official web site on Friday. Soliman, who joined Ahly from ENPPI in the closing season, gelled quickly into the team, proving a constant menace to opponents with his pace and dribbling skills. He opened the scoring against Petrojet with a superb left-foot volley which left the keeper with no chance. He was substituted during halftime, making way for diminutive wing-back Ahmed Shedid, who made minimal impact. Defending champions Ahly, who have four points from two games, will be looking to atone for the Petrojet draw when they meet Gouna on Sunday. Gouna caused an upset after thrashing Ismaily 4-1, thanks to a brace from Nigerian striker Minusu Buba who is gradually regaining form for the first time since he finished as the league's top scorer in the 2009-10 season.
