No one can stop me from serving my country, says Ghana skipper Gyan

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan said on Tuesday that 'no one can stop me from serving my country' amid a cash crisis that hit the Ghanaian Football Association ahead of a Saturday Nations Cup qualifier against Rwanda.
The Black Stars, who had already secured their place in next year's Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, will face Rwanda in their final qualifier.
Ghanaian sports minister Nii Lante Vanderpuye asked coach Avram Grant to field a home-based line-up against Rwanda because the ministry is cash-strapped.
However, Grant named a 23-man squad that included only one home-based player.
"If Rwanda can raise a national team from their local league and Ghana cannot do this, it is mere laziness," Vanderpuye told Happy FM last Sunday.
Vanderpuye insisted the ministry could not afford to cover the ticket expenses of foreign-based players but the likes of Gyan, Baba Rahman and midfielder Mubarak Wakaso decided to buy their own tickets.
Ghana's vice skipper Andre Ayew also offered to buy tickets for his teammates.
"I am proud of my Country," Gyan wrote on his official twitter account on Tuesday.
"No one can stop me from serving my country… Ghana made me who I am today."
