AlHadraa troupe are scheduled to perform at Cairo's El-Genaina Theatre on Thursday 8 September. Led by munshid Nour Nageh, the troupe presents the hadra, a Sufi maglis (gathering) that brings together chanters from different Sufi schools to deliver a performance which “aims at capturing the spirituality of Egyptian Muslim gatherings,” reads the event description on Facebook. The performance features inshad (chanting), dhikr, and madih (praise) of Prophet Muhammad.
