Egypt's Elmohamady plays as Hull City continue EPL strong start
Published in Ahram Online on 20 - 08 - 2016

Egyptian winger Ahmed Elmohamady helped Hull City to a 2-0 win over Swansea City on Saturday the Tigers continued their impressive start to the season on Saturday.
Swansea started brightly and came close to opening the scoring after six minutes when Gylfi Sigurdsson found space on the edge of the box and fired fiercely, but Eldin Jakupovic managed to get fingers to it and push it onto the bar.
Hull City responded to Swansea City's confident start and should have led after 15 minutes, but Adama Diomande failed to hit the target after creating a great chance for himself after some nice work in the box.
Swansea were the better side in the first half and created more chances, but failed to test Jakupovic on enough occasions. Modou Barrow was a thorn in Hull City's side all afternoon and had the Tigers panicking early in the second half when he cut in from the left and struck for goal, but his shot flashed across the box and failed to find the target.
Francesco Guidolin made changes in the second half, introducing both Jefferson Montero and Sung-Yueng Ki as Swansea pushed for the winner, but it was Hull who stole all three points with two late goals.
The Tigers took the lead in the 79th minute when substitute Maloney wriggled free in the box and got on the end of a Robert Snodgrass corner, and then the Scottish international turned provider in injury time when he unselfishly set up Hernandez for a simple finish.
The win was a historic one for the Tigers. It is the first time in their history they have started a Premier League season with back-to-back wins.
