Magnitude 6.2 earthquake recorded in central Australia: USGS

A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck central Australia early on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The USGS said the quake was centred 460 km (285 miles) west-southwest of Alice Springs, and was 10 km deep.
