Egyptian Premier League champions Ahly have completed the signing of Ismaily talented play maker Abdullah El-Saied before the transfer window closed on Thursday. El-Saeid signed a three-year contract with Ahly for LE6.750 million and agreed to loan Algerian striker Amir Sayoud for one year. “El-Saied gave up his benefits at Ismaily worth 900 thousand pounds,” the player's agent Mohamed Sheha told Ahram Online. Ahly's archrivals Zamalek showed interest in signing the player but he preferred Ahly. El-Saied, 26, started his career with Ismaily and played for Egypt in the 2005 World Youth Championship. He joined the Pharaohs squad when they were coached by current Zamalek manager Hassan Shehata. The talented midfielder is the sixth new signing for Ahly this season, after striker El-Sayed Hamdy, Brazilian Fabio Junior, defender Mohamed Naguib, Walid Soliman and Ahmed Shedid Qinawi.
