Kuwait will be hosting the upcoming round of negotiations on the ongoing conflict in Yemen, a Yemeni presidential source told Ahram Online on Sunday. The talks, the date for which has not been officially announced, were expected to be held in Muscat, Oman, and the reasons for the switch remain unclear. The source also said that the concerned parties have agreed to the decision and that Saudi Arabia has given its blessing. United Nations special envoy Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed held talks in Sanaa on Saturday and Friday where he announced that the parties are preparing for a new round of negotiations. Ould Cheikh's visit is considered the first of its kind following Saudi-Houthi talks that took place in the Saudi city of Abha last week. After primarily being behind the scenes, talks have been put on a more official track. Many sources that will participate in the negotiations say it is too early to set a timeframe for the talks. However, there is no disagreement on the direction of the parties towards reaching a settlement. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/193468.aspx
