"I wish I could have stayed more" says Algerian Aoudia about Zamalek
After returning home to join Es Setif, former Zamalek forward Mohamed Amin Aoudia recalls fondly his Egyptian experience

Algeria's ES Setif new player Mohamed AminAoudia has thanked Egyptian and Zamalek fans and footballers.
“I really hoped to continue with Zamalek especially as I didn't appear in form because of my successive injuries,” the former Zamalek forward was quoted as saying in the Algerian newspaper El-Khabar.
The 24-year old striker has been released from the White Castle after the ouster of former coach Hossam Hassan.
“I really want to thank coach Hossam Hassan and I really wished that the new manager, Hassan Shehata, would have given me a chance to prove my worth,” he said.
The most successful Egyptian manager, Shehata took the Zamalek job after he left the Egyptian national team after being unable to qualify for the 2012 African Cup of Nations.
“I felt at home around great players like Ahmed ‘Mido' Hossam, Mahmoud ‘Shikabala' Abdel-Razik and Hani Said. I want to thank them all,”Aoudia added.
The Algerian attacker received Egyptian offers from Haras El-Hodoud and El-Gouna, but he preferred ES Setif, who finished third in the Algerian League last season after ASO Chlef andJSM Bejaia.
Zamalek lost the Egyptian title race to archrivals Ahly after dominating the domestic Premier League for weeks.
