South Africa qualify for Olympic Games after shootout win over Senegal

South Africa became the third and last African side to reach next year's Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro after earning a 3-1 shootout win over hosts Senegal following a 0-0 draw in the third-place playoff of the U-23 African Cup of Nations.
South Africa joined finalists Algeria and Nigeria after settling the third-place playoff in their favour.
Algeria meet Nigeria in the Nations Cup final later on Saturday.
