Algeria and Nigeria have reached the CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations finals after beating South Africa and Senegal respectively late Wednesday to secure two places in the Men's Olympic Football Tournament next summer in Rio de Janeiro. Nigeria defeated the CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations tournament's hosts Senegal 1-0 in the semifinals to reach the final of the championship. Meanwhile, Algeria defeated South Africa 2-0 to complete their perfect run in the tournament as well as reaching the CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations final against Nigeria. The two finalists, Nigeria and Algeria, alongside the third place winner who is yet to be determined, will represent Africa in next year's Olympic Games. Senegal will host South Africa in the third place decider Saturday to determine the third qualifying team for Rio de Janeiro.
