The Cairo giants management 'has sent an official letter to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) asking them not register Ahmed Fathi “Bougy”, Wagih Abdel-Azim and Hagag Sha'aban in the Whites' squad next season 2011-2012. “We thank the trio of players for their efforts with the team and inform them that their contracts have been terminated as we won't complete our deal with them in the 2011-2012 season” read a statement on the club's official site. Zamalek president Galal Ibrahim has agreed to offload defender Amr El-Safti to Port Said side Masry in a swap deal for the services of the latter's Hani Saied. On the other hand, Zamalek's management has officially asked for the services of Ittihad Al-Shortah's duo Mohamed Nagib and Nigerian star Boba, based on a recommendation from the team's new tactician Hassan Shehata. Zamalek appointed former Egypt coach Hassan Shehata as their new manager early this month after surprisingly dismissing Hossam Hassan, who was widely expected to stay put despite a trophy-less season.
