Egypt's foreign affairs minister Sameh Shoukry is scheduled to begin a one-week Asian tour on Saturday to strengthen political and economic ties with countries including Japan and South Korea, a Friday ministry statement read. Shoukry's tour will start in Seoul, where he will meet with representatives from a number of major economic institutions such as Samsung, Hyundai and the Korean Union for International Trade. He will also meet with his Korean counterpart and Korean parliamentarians.
