Two Egyptians confirmed dead in Paris attacks
Published in Ahram Online on 16 - 11 - 2015

Two Egyptians, 28-year old Salah Emad El-Gebali and 30-year old Lamia Mondegeur, were reportedly killed in Friday's Paris attacks.
French authorities told the Egyptian Consulate General in Paris that El-Gebali, a resident in France, was killed during the attacks, Serenade Gamil reported on MBC Masr TV channel late Sunday.
The Egyptian Consul said the location where he was killed is unknown, but it is likely Le Bataclan concert hall, the deadliest site of Friday's carnage.
Dual Egyptian-French national, Lamia Mondeguer, died during the attack at a restaurant on Rue de Charonne in the 11th district, a source close to her family told independent publication Enterprise.
Mondeguer studied cinema and worked as a Communications manager at Studio Noma talents agency.
The Consul also said there are no reports of Egyptian attackers involved in the events.
Friday saw the killing of at least 129 people, 352 injured and 80 in critical condition, as attackers shot at people at restaurants and bars, detonated bombs near France's Stadium and killed attendees of a concert at Le Bataclan hall, which was a full house.
ISIS claimed responsibility for the attacks in an online statement in Arabic and in French.
