Five new ministers in latest cabinet reshuffle
More ministerial appointments expected throughout the day

Prime Minister Essam Sharaf has appointed five new ministers in the latest cabinet reshuffle.
Sharaf has chosen Moetaz Khorsheid, the CEO of the Egyptian Association for Programming Engineers, as the new minister of higher education and scientific research. Khorsheid was also the deputy president of the British University in Egypt and the former deputy president of Cairo University and a consultant to the French University in Egypt.
Hazem Abdel Azeem was appointed as the new minister of telecommunications. Abdel Azeem is a former president of the Technology, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre in the ministry.
Other new ministers are Amr Helmy who will take up his post as the new Minister of Health. Helmy is the former head of the Menoufiya Liver Institute.
Hazem Beblawi, veteran economist and former undersecretary of the UN's Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, is the new minister of finance.
Ali Zein El Abdeen, a professor in the college of engineering in Ain Shams University, will become the new minister of transport.
More names are expected to be announced in the next few hours.
