Former minister of agriculture Youssef Wali has been arrested at home

Youssef Wali, Egypt's former agriculture minister, was arrested at home shortly after his name was put on the wanted list and has been referred to the prosecution office.
He is accused of importing cancer-causing pesticides during his tenure at the ministry.
Wali also faces charges of squandering LE200 million from public funds by illegally allocating a plot of land for the notorious business tycoon Hussein Salem for a negligible price.
