Ivorian striker Gervinho is close to joining English Premier League side Arsenal, Sky Sports reported on Wednesday

Lille's Ivorian Forward Gervinho is reportedly undergoing a medical at Arsenal before completing a move to the English giants.
According to Sky Sports, the 24-year-old will sign a four-year contract with the Gunners worth 12 million Euros. The transfer is likely to be confirmed soon.
Gervinho shined last season in Ligue 1, scoring 15 goals to help Lille to win its first French League title since 1953-1954.
Gervinho, who also played for Belgium's Beveren and France's Le Mans, was linked with several English sides such as Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester City Following his impressive performances last season.
