Families of former regime heavy weights face investigation for their part in corruption charges

The Illicit Gains Authority has started investigating Zeinab El-Fouly, wife of former parliamentary speaker Fathy Sorour.
Sorour faces charges of using his former position to illegally accrue wealth.
Meanwhile, the heirs of the deceased former minister Kamal El-Shazly, accused of illegally using his former position to obtain land, also faced interrogation on Wednesday from the Illicit Gain Authority.
