Man United, Inter and Milan on Zamalek's radar
Zamalek's board member Shereen Faouzi snubs Juventus and welcomes Manchester United, Inter Milan or AC Milan for a friendly game as part of the centenary ceremony

Zamalek board member and centenary festival committee head, Sherien Faouzi revealed on Sunday that he will be in talks with Serie A giants Inter Milan and AC Milan, along with English Premier League champions Manchester United, to choose a team to play in the Whites' 100th anniversary celebration.
“I will travel to England and Italy within three days to hold talks with Inter Milan, AC Milan and Manchester United officials to pick a side that will play Zamalek in the centenary ceremony” Fawzi told Al Ahram Arabic portal.
Faouzi also announced that Zamalek's management refuses to face Juventus in their festival without providing any reasons.
Earlier this month, Italian club Inter Milan turned down an offer by the Egyptian club due to security concerns during the country's unrest.
Zamalek's management is again negotiating with them, alongside other European champions, to be guests of honour as the security situation has calmed down and the police force is almost fully reactivated.
Zamalek initially asked to host Real Madrid but the negotiations were deterred by the Spanish side's financial demands. The Whites were hit with their own financial crisis following the dismissal of former president Mamduh Abbas, who was a major source of the club's funds.
The Egyptian Premier League leaders were originally set to hold their 100-year festival five months ago, in the midst of the January 25 Revolution.
The Cairo-based club was established on 5 January, 1911. Their football team has won the Egyptian league title 11 times and the Egypt Cup on 21 occasions.
