Darwish and Shorbagy advance to World Squash quarters
Karim Darwish defeated fellow countryman Wael El Hindi 3-0 on Tuesday to qualify for the quarter finals of the World Squash Open in Saudi Arabia

The third-seeded Darwish needed 38 minutes to beat El Hindi 11/4, 11/3 and 11/3 and enjoy a smooth progress to the last eight.
The 29-year-old, however, kept his feet on the ground, saying that Wael was a tough opponent to beat.
“It's always tough to play Wael, he's a determined, talented player and he knows my game well,” Darwish was quoted as saying on the tournament's official website.
“I knew I had to be focused right from the start of the match, and I'm pleased with how I kept my concentration to win three-nil.”
Darwish will face Peter Barker in the quarter finals after the Englishman, seeded eighth, overcame Stewart Boswell of Australia with a 3-0 win earlier on Tuesday.
“This is the most important tournament of the year. I'm playing well at the moment, and these four years are probably the most important of my life, I have to make sure I'm properly prepared for them, mentally and physically,” Darwish added.
Mohamed El Shorbagy defeated Aamir Atlas Khan (Pakistan) 3-0 (11-8, 11-6, 11-8) to reach the last 8. He will face English James Willstrop on Thursday.
Defending champion Amr Shabana of Egypt also reached the quarter finals after claiming a 3-2 victory over Malaysian Azlan Iskander on Monday to set up a meeting with Frenchman Gregory Gaultier.
