Ghana coach Avram Grant explained his side's poor performance against Rwanda in African qualifiers by pointing out the sub-par playing surface that hosted the game. The Black Stars have struggled in their 1-0 away win against minnows Rwanda in a group H match on Saturday. The 2015 Africa Cup of Nations runners-up waited until 85 minutes into the game before Ghana's forward Mubarak Wakaso scored the winner through a free kick, giving his side a precious win. "It was difficult to play our football because of the pitch," Grant was quoted as saying by Ghana Soccernet on Monday. "We like to play one or two touches but it was impossible to play on this pitch. "But we managed to dominate the game in the second half and we deservedly won." Ghana remain on top with six points, three ahead of second-placed Mauritius who defeated Mozambique 1-0 on Sunday. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/139908.aspx
