Ramy Ashour, Karim Darwish and Mohamed El-Shorbagy will represent Egypt at the World Championship in Germany while Amr Shabana still hasn't reached a satisfying agreement with the Egypt Squash association Former squash world champion Amr Shabana is doubtful for the Egyptian national team ahead of the World Championships in Germany next August. Egypt squash team manager Amir Wageh named second seed Ramy Ashour, third seed Karim Darwish and Mohamed El-Shorbagy, ranked ninth in the world, to represent Egypt in Paderborn from 21 August. “If Shabana insists in the over-exaggerating benefits he asked for, we will select another player,” Wageh announced. The current fifth best player in the world, Shabana is currently in the United States following Egypt's revolution asked for expenses that the Egyptian Squash Association deemed excessive. The 31-year-old won the World Open in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009, and reached the World No. 1 ranking in 2006.
