New Release: Memories of an Immoral Man Memories of an Immoral Man observes with sarcasm the attitudes of opportunists that after the 1919 claimed to be revolutionaries - not dissimilar to the opportunists today
Mozakerat Arbagy (Memories of an Immoral Man) observes with sarcasm the attitudes of opportunists that appeared after 1919 revolution as they claim to be revolutionaries. The first edition of this text was published in 1922, after which the identity of the writer became controversial. Many literature historians think the author used a penname and that the true identity is that of a famous journalist during that period, Fikri Abaza. Although ninety years separate the opportunists of the 1919 revolution from those of Egypt's January 2011 revolution, the text is very relevant today as there are many similar aspects among the opportunists of both periods.
