Abdel-Malek not for sale, says Hodoud president Haras El Hodoud president stressed to Ahram Online that the club will not sell their prize winger Ahmed Eid Abdel Malek
Haras El-Hodoud has declined an offer on Sunday from Ahly that would whisk away their international winger Ahmed Eid Abdel-Malek. "We will not consider any offers for Abdel Malek," the club's president Abdel-Hakim Abo-Mosallam he told Ahram Online. The 31-year-old highly-rated forward's contract expires in June 2012 and he has revealed his desire to find a new challenge. Reportedly, he is on top of Cairo giants' (Ahly and Zamalek) most wanted lists. "We will not be selling Abdel-Malek even if we receive an LE 10 million offer," El-Hodoud coach Tarek El-Ashry confirms the board's decision. The Alexandrian based-club wants to keep its star man as long as possible, seeing that the team suffers a huge dip in form and Abdel-Malek is its most creative and influential player.
