Zamalek have announced a list of nine players to be offloaded in the summer, with striker duo Khaled Kamar and Ahmed Ali and left-back Ahmed Samir all named. The list also includes Ahmed Eid, Abdoulaye Cisse, Mohamed Abdel-Megid, Youssef Ibrahim 'Obama', Mohamed Shaaban and Saleh Mousa. Manager Jesualdo Ferreira's transfer list didn't come as a surprise to many, with the nine players released either failing to play regularly or put in convincing enough displays. Both Ali and Kamar have frequently looked to have lost their cutting edge in front of goal, while Samir was often replaced in his left-back spot to right-footed Hamada Tolba. Despite some fine displays from the 35-year-old Eid, he was not consistent enough – with Zamalek having already landed Egypt international Mahmoud 'Kahraba'. Samir and youngster Obama have been sent on a one-year loan to Ismaily, Zamalek chairman Mortada Mansour announced during a press conference. Zamalek, who were crowned Egyptian league champions for the 12thtime in their history, have already signed Mohamed Salem, Ibrahim Abdel-Khalek, Mohamed Salem, Sherif Alaa and Ahmed Hassan Mekki.
